It is filled with colors and moving figures. There are many characters that children would recognize. Children are able to click on a TV series to play games that have to do with a certain character. Summary of the Game: The game would be very fun for a child to play. The game that I choose is themed to Clifford the Big Red Dog. The child drags words into the box that matches the first letter of the word. Evaluation of the Game: This game would be great for younger students who are working on letter recognition. Children do not need to know how to read before playing the game. They just have to know the first letter. There is audio that says the word as the child drags it to the child can hear the word even if he or she cannot read it yet. Color: There are fun colors on the page. There are different shades of blues, orange, red and yellow. Around the game is a fun bone pattern. The colors are fun but not too distracting as to take away from the game. Repetition: Then the child drags the word to the box, there is audio that says the word followed by a bark if it is correct. Talking Text: There are directions at the top. The child can either read the directions or click on the microphone next to it to hear the direction read. Game: Word Confision Level: Child can choose easy or hard Summary of the Website: This website has a variety of games. There are different categories such as math, reading and fun that the child can choose from. Summary of the Game: Children choose the correct word to complete the sentence. (Ex: Tie the in the rope. NOT or KNOT) Each correct response helps the bunny make his salad. Evaluation of the Game: This game is great for older children who already know how to read. It helps children understand the difference between words that sound alike. Color: There is a good use of color on the page but it is not overly dramatic because the game is intended for older children.
